A great casual spot for coffee, croissants, toast, or churros. Everything was very tasty and the prices were very reasonable. Emanuel was especially helpful and friendly, which made the experience even better. Definitely a nice place to stop for a quick and affordable breakfast or coffee break.

I’m pleasantly surprised that this café, located in the heart of Madrid, isn’t overrun with tourists. I had some of the best croquetas I’ve tried in the city here. I highly recommend stopping by for a truly Spanish experience—enjoy a drink paired with a couple of delicious croquetas!

Omg I love it here. Started bringing everyone who visits me. Proper, real, old school establishment, I love the mix of ages and people. Gets proper busy and buzzy at nighttime, and so affordable which is a treat given the location. Thanks guys, never ever change xxxx

Loved the vibes, traditional, really good croquetas. The place for you if you want a crowded place with no music, just people hanging out, grabbing a bite, a drink, good time

The café con leche and churros were absolutely delicious! The flavor was rich and authentic, and everything was served warm and fresh. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere felt cozy and traditional. It’s the perfect spot to start your morning in Madrid. I would definitely come back again and recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

Sat at the bar for an early lunch and had ham croquetas (they’re a generous size) and tortilla (a bit dry). Service was animated. Felt like a “typical” local bar. Plenty of churros and hot chocolate being consumed around me. Was a bit pricey - didn’t expect to pay nearly 3€ for a small bottle of water…

We came here at around lunch time and it was half full inside. Their English here isn't very good so be warned when trying to enter. They try their best to help you which is nice. You order at the bar and pick it up at the bar. You can sit wherever you like basically. We ordered fried croquettes, potato omelet, churros and tomato toast. The churros were our second favourite in Madrid. They weren't hot out of the frier but they were crispy and addictive. The tomato toast was a pass - nothing amazing and didn't have enough garlic. The croquettes came out piping hot. Nice and crispy. The potato omelet was also served cold but it went really well with the bread. I would imagine it was very delicious if it was hot. I would come back to try the other things on the menu as their menu is so big. They have lots of things that you could enjoy as snacks. A lot of locals come here and not a lot of tourists which is nice.

I'm originally from Madrid but live abroad now. This is the place if you want some of the best croquetas you've ever had. The rest of the tapas are also good but this is for sure a place to come for croquetas. They're big enough that you can share one between two people, you must order minimum two thou and it can be of different flavours. The place is always packed but it's worth it to wait a bit to find a spot.
